Nutcracker Auditions Are This Weekend!
Nutcracker season has officially arrived at Northeastern Ballet Theatre, and we're inviting dancers of every age and experience level to audition for our 2026 production.
Audition Dates & Times
Saturday, September 19th — Wolfeboro Studio Sunday, September 20th — Dover Studio
Time | Age Group |
2:00 PM | Ages 3-5 |
2:30 PM | Ages 6-8 |
3:00 PM | Ages 9-11 |
3:30 PM | Ages 12-14 |
4:00 PM | Ages 15 and up; Adults included |
Both dates are open to current NBT dancers and any other interested performers — you do not need to already be enrolled at NBT to try out.
How to Register
Register now for your audition date and time. A $125 Production Fee is due upon registration, payable by check, cash, Venmo, or online through the student portal. Payment must be received before a dancer may audition. A separate Costume Fee will follow once casting is finalized.
Mark Your Calendar for Show Weekend
This year's Nutcracker will take the stage at the Kingswood Arts Center in Wolfeboro, November 28–29 — Thanksgiving weekend. It's the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with family and friends.
Whether your dancer has been with us for years or this is their very first audition, we can't wait to see what this season's cast brings to the stage. Come ready to dance, and we'll see you at the studio!
