NBT Welcomes Dance Medicine Chiropractor Dr. Yori Thomas as Advisor

DOVER, N.H. — Northeastern Ballet Theatre (NBT) is pleased to announce that Dr. Yori Thomas, a chiropractor specializing in the care of dancers and performing artists, has joined the studio as an advisor. Beginning this fall, Dr. Thomas will provide monthly on-site evaluations and treatments for NBT dancers at the Dover studio.

Dr. Thomas focuses on preventing and treating the musculoskeletal injuries common in dance. Her care is individualized and aimed at keeping dancers healthy, resilient and performing at their best.

"Our dancers train hard, and they deserve care from someone who truly understands what their bodies go through," said Edra Toth, Artistic Director of NBT. "Dr. Thomas is both a clinician and a dancer herself. Having her in the studio is a meaningful step in supporting our students' long-term health."

Fall 2026 Treatment Dates

Dr. Thomas will see dancers at NBT's Dover studio from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on:

• Friday, October 2

• Friday, November 13

• Friday, December 11

Hours may extend to 4:00 p.m. if appointments fill. First visits include an initial evaluation of about one hour; follow-up adjustment appointments are shorter. Appointments are limited, so dancers and families are encouraged to book early.
