Join the Magic of Snow White: Audition for Northeastern Ballet Theatre’s Spring Production!




Are you ready to step into a world of enchantment and bring the beloved tale of Snow White to life? Northeastern Ballet Theatre (NBT) invites dancers and non-dancers alike from the community to audition for our upcoming spring ballet production! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a newcomer eager to try something new, this is your chance to be part of a magical journey.

Audition Details

Mark your calendars and choose a date that works for you:

Saturday, January 11thLocation: Wolfeboro Studio

Sunday, January 12thLocation: Dover Studio

Audition Times:

  • 2:00 PM – Ages 3-5

  • 2:30 PM – Ages 6-8

  • 3:00 PM – Ages 9-11

  • 3:30 PM – Ages 12-14

  • 4:00 PM – Ages 15 and up, including adults

These auditions are open to everyone in the community, not just current NBT dancers. No prior ballet experience? No problem! Come as you are and show us your enthusiasm.

Why Audition?

Participating in a ballet production is more than just dancing; it’s about building connections, gaining confidence, and creating unforgettable memories. Snow White offers roles for all ages and skill levels, from the iconic title character to flowers, dwarves, and guests at the Evil Queen’s castle. Roles will be tailored based on audition attendance and experience, so every participant gets a chance to shine.

Key Dates to Remember

Performances:Kingswood Arts Center, Wolfeboro

  • Friday, April 4th: Load-In and Dress Rehearsal (4-9 PM)

  • Saturday, April 5th: Performance at 6 PM (Dancer check-in: 3:30 PM)

  • Sunday, April 6th: Performance at 2 PM (Dancer check-in: 12:00 PM)

Rehearsals: Rehearsals begin January 18/19 and continue through March. Pointe roles will rehearse on Saturdays, and non-pointe/adult roles on Sundays. Full cast rehearsals will take place in March. Commitment to both performances and no more than two missed rehearsals is required.

Costs and Requirements

Production Fee: $125 (due upon registration)Costume Fees: Additional fees based on assigned roles (billed after the cast list is released).Participants will need to purchase new shoes, tights, and leotards specific to their roles.

How to Prepare for Auditions

  1. Fill Out the Audition Form: Print and complete the attached two-sided form before arriving at your audition.

  2. Pay the Production Fee: Ensure payment is made before auditioning.

  3. Bring Your Passion: Whether you’re a dancer or someone looking to try something new, come ready to showcase your enthusiasm and creativity.
