"Coppélia" is a ballet that tells the story of a young man named Franz who becomes infatuated with a beautiful girl he sees sitting on a balcony. However, the girl, Coppélia, is actually a life-sized doll created by the eccentric Dr. Coppelius. Franz's sweetheart, Swanilda, becomes jealous of his interest in Coppélia and decides to investigate. She discovers the truth about Coppélia and pretends to be the doll to trick Dr. Coppelius. In the end, the misunderstanding is resolved, and Franz and Swanilda reconcile, celebrating their love through a joyful finale.
