Northeastern Ballet Theatre (NEBT) is a professional ballet company. The Company's repertoire consists of original ballets created by  Edra Toth, the company's artistic director.The vision and goal of NEBT is to provide a professional performing venue for New Hampshire dancers, and to bring high quality, entertaining productions to it's audiences. NEBT has performed in venues such as The Music Hall in Portsmouth, Johnson's Theater in Durham, The Rochester Opera House and The Farmington Opera House. Audiences have enjoyed ballets such as Dracula, The Pirate and The Gypsy, 12 Danicing Princesses, Seamus's Quest, and Magic Mountain. Auditions are held in September for NEBT's annual production of the Nutcracker.

 

The Edra Toth's Academy of Dance & Music is the training school for Northeastern Ballet Theatre. The Academy provides dance classes for both the serious and recreational student. Ballet being the foundation of all movement, the focus and emphasis of the Academy is ballet but classes are offered in Jazz, Hip-Hop and Pilates. The school is NOT recital-driven so class time is spent teaching students HOW TO DANCE. It is the philosophy of Edra Toth, the school's founder and director, that ballet is a performing art so the school is NOT a "Competion School". Classes are offered to all ages, and with an open enrollment policy students may join anytime.
