CURRICULUM
Edra Toth's Academy of Dance & Music is a traditional ballet school, ballet being the foundation of all dance, a full range of ballet classes are offered from Creative Movement to Advance levels and Pointe, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Pilates, and six week offerings of Ballroom.
CLASS PLACEMENT:
1. Class placement is made at the Director's discretion.
2. Most students work in the same level for one or more years.
3. Entire classes do not advance to the next level as a unit. Students with poor attendance may not progress at the same rate as students who attend consistantly or who are enrolled in additional classes.
4. Students or parents may request re-evaluations at any time during the year.
5. Students dropping out of class during the school year will not recieve an automatic class placement recommendation for advancement to the next level for the next year.
6. Students who do not complete semesters due to excessive absences, tardiness, illness or injuries will require additional remedial classes for advancement to the next level for the next year.
NEW AND TRANSFERRING STUDENTS
New students may register at any time during the year. New students and dancers with recent experience elsewhere are encouraged to schedule a free placement class at the Edra Toth's Academy of Dance & Music. This offers the student a chance to see our facilities and allows the instructor to make an accurate recommendation for future class placement.
CONTINUING STUDENTS
Continuing students at Edra Toth's Academy of Dance & Music will recieve an automatic Fall Class Placement.
